I took AP World History. As everyone may assume, it is about how world civilizations initiate and develop. The subject provides knowledge about people’s value of thinking and outputs of human being throughout our history. Daoism and several other values were covered both in class and AP, so I wanted to make my own project that can reflect my learnings.
At first, I was planning to make a poem about our class. I wanted to describe creativity of boys and maturity of our ‘nunas’. Also, I was planning to include some lessons about some areas we covered in class. Since Daoism was the most impressive value of thinking among all the ideologies covered during class, I was trying to include some descriptions about nirvana-reached-human. I had set some basic outline of my poem, but my plan changed.
While working on my project, I heard that many of boys are making a music video about diversity. The music was ‘Where is the love ‘, and its lyrics attracted me. I decided to join music video team and helped other members filming a video. We changed the song’s name to ‘Where is the Dao’ and put some of lessons that we covered in class.
